You remember that story about Paul Simon
stopping in while we were recording?
We consider that an auspicious omen!

We have a dream band  -- our go-to guys
Sean Smith (bass) & Vito Lesczak (drums),
PLUS the swinging, soulful & legendary
Houston Person (tenor saxophone).



We had a great photo shoot with the incredibly talented
Gene Reed and the package is designed by the stunningly gifted
graphic designer LuAnn Graffeo Blonkowski.



There's still lots to do before our "official" release in 2025.
Promotion, marketing, all that tedious, necessary stuff.

The CD is called PAINTING THE TOWN.
The songs range from Cole Porter's
"Just One Of Those Things" (that's where
the album title comes from) to Joni Mitchell's
"Marcie", with stops in between for
Berlin, Mercer, Ellington & Strayhorn,
Van Heusen, Coleman & Leigh, Carole
King, & of course, Paul Simon.



We also celebrated our 20th wedding
anniversary in 2024, so it seems a  fitting time
to release this record, our first joint CD!
